Hi all,

I'm completing my application for the MDP now and will be posting it in the next few days. My only concern about my application is the Conviction I recieved in November 2000 for Public order. I've been advised to apply because the conviction is 'spent' and has been for sometime. I've got 8 years of untarnished Military service behind me but still remain dubious about the Police being able to overlook this past conviction and take me on merit.

I just want to know if anyone has actually ever made it into any UK Police force with previous 'Spent' convictions.

Any advise or stories welcome
