Anyone applied to Devon & Cornwall in their most recent recruitment campaign? If so, how is your application progressing?

Applied in most recent one (Sept/Oct last year yeah) - was chuffed to get through the papersift pretty quick and was sent a load of questions about finances / family.

Have also since received a phone call from a lovely sounding young lady (back in late december) asking for more information about some travelling I did. I'm hoping I gave her all the right info because she called me the morning after my work christmas party so I was pretty hung over, well still drunk actually, so not too sure what I told her and if I covered everything.

Haven't heard anything since then. I'm aware they had rough plans to have their day 1 assessments in March, May and Oct. I'm crossing everything in the hope I get on the March one.

So what stage you at? Where you hoping to be based etc.

Hi, are you still waiting for Assessment Centre? I applied in Oct 2008 and I'm still waiting for a date for AC. They didn't send out my reference forms until I phoned up then implied it was my fault my application took so long that I didn't get into an AC last year s:
